GS Assessment for Student Visa (Subclass 500)

The Genuine Student (GS) Assessment replaces existing Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) Requirements. While this change was announced in late 2023, it came into effect from 23 March 2024 for all student visas in Australia. It’s a compulsory assessment test conducted by the university/college that you have received an offer letter from. Successfully clearing this assessment allows students to be eligible for receiving a COE.
